The Pickell Family Foundation, a philanthropic associate of Orren Pickell Building Group, proudly pledges $25,000 to support Fuller Center for Housing, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide. Fuller Center for Housing created partnerships within communities between churches, schools, people and businesses, like the Pickell Family Foundation, so affordable homes can be built or renovated for men, women, and families unable to secure adequate housing by conventional means. Through Fuller Center for Housing’s Save a House/Make a Home initiative, the organization is supporting families in need, aiding financial institutions and contributing to the success of the housing market.
In an effort to further its impact, the company is encouraging its loyal clientele and the community at large to make a donation by March 15, 2014, where all donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $25,000. The company’s generous donation will provide housing for a disadvantaged family that is currently living in substandard housing or is homeless. After a stringent vetting process, Fuller Center for Housing will select and announce the family who will benefit from the Pickell Family Foundation’s donation.
